Organisations
Music has the power to bring joy, connection, creativity and self-expression, yet access to meaningful musical experiences is not always easy. Many people face barriers that can limit their opportunities to participate, whether through a lack of appropriate resources, specialist support or inclusive musical environments. I believe that every person should have the opportunity to engage with music in ways that reflect their individual strengths, interests and needs. By creating accessible, inclusive musical experiences and supporting those around them to use music with confidence, we can ensure that music becomes a meaningful part of everyday life for everyone, regardless of ability.
I am actively involved in organisations which seek to remove the barriers towards accessible music making for everyone. I work closely with the LSO Discovery on projects such as ‘LSO Create’, a creative ensemble made up of adults with disabilities, their carers and members of the London Symphony Orchestra. I lead projects for children in special education with the London Symphony Orchestra, Jessie's Fund and The Mozartists. These projects frequently take children away from their school settings to perform in major venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Festival Hall and the Barbican.
As well as my experience in educational settings, I work as a visiting musician in hospitals in and around London including St Mary's Hospital, the Royal London Hospital and Collingham Community Hospital School. As a music therapist, I am able to bring together my skills as both a musician and a clinician to create musical experiences that are fun and interactive, and most importantly offer creative respite at what can be a challenging and vulnerable time in a person’s life.
I am proud to work with Jessie's Fund, a UK charity that helps seriously ill and disabled children experience the transformative power of music. As part of the charity's Education Programme, I work in specialist schools across the country, delivering creative, inclusive music workshops that enable children and young people to communicate, connect and express themselves through music. Alongside these sessions, I provide training and support for school staff, helping them develop the confidence and skills to embed music into everyday school life. By encouraging meaningful musical experiences beyond the workshop itself, the work creates lasting opportunities for creativity, communication and wellbeing across the whole school community.

The LSO's Discovery programme transforms lives through the power of music, creating inspiring, inclusive opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to explore, create, perform and connect through shared musical experiences.
I have worked with the LSO's Discovery programme since 2019, taking on a variety of roles that reflect my passion for making music accessible to everyone. My work has included bringing music to children and families in the Royal London and St Mary's hospitals, creating meaningful musical experiences with older adults through the LSO Connect community, and coaching talented young musicians as part of the LSO's Next Generation scheme. Each project is unique, but they all share the same ethos: that music has the power to connect people, inspire creativity and enrich lives, regardless of age, background or social circumstance.
A favourite project of mine is LSO Create, an inclusive ensemble that brings together disabled and non-disabled musicians to create and perform original music in a welcoming and collaborative environment. The project celebrates creativity, individuality and a shared passion for collaborative music-making.
Mozartists
The Mozartists are a unique group of musicians who are leading exponents of Mozart and his contemporaries. As part of a specialist creative team, I deliver interactive music workshops in specialist schools, creating relaxed, inclusive sessions that encourage communication, confidence and creativity through music. Working closely with teachers and school staff, we tailor each project to meet the individual needs of the children, ensuring every young person can participate in a way that feels meaningful to them.
